NEF Presented Three TV Awards
NEF had a pleasure of sponsoring the award ceremony recognising the achievements of European TV and New Media production in the area of Science and Technology.
Prof Sa’ad Medhat, Michelle Medhat and Dr Sarah Peers presented the awards in the following categories: Best TV Documentary, Best TV Drama and Best TV General Programme. The Awards Evening was held in conjunction with the BBC Year of Science.
When presenting the award Michelle Medhat raised a point noting that th ere were no British programmes competing for the award in the Best TV Drama category. NEF hopes that next year national broadcasters will be better represented in the awards shortlist.
