COURSE: PRIORITISING FOR INNOVATION SUCCESS

Effective prioritisation is an integral part of any innovation management system. Whether we are considering choosing the best ideas, picking the best people, or the tweaking of the right process handles for process optimisation, a systematic approach to prioritisation is essential. In this one-day programme, you’ll learn about the theories behind effective prioritisation and, through examples and exercises, be introduced to a range of tools, from simple to comprehensive, which can be immediately deployed in your organisation to improve your prioritisation effectiveness.

WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND:

  • You will learn the fundamentals of effective prioritisation through Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA)
  • Discover a range of tools and techniques that you will be able to immediately adopt and adapt for your organisation
  • Through a structured approach to prioritisation you will make better decisions based on better data
  • Increase the engagement of your employees and/or co-workers in the decision-making process and thereby improve the effectiveness of follow-up implementation
  • Increase the probability of success for your project portfolio
  • Improve the value of your project portfolio through optimising the “bang for buck” of your portfolio

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:

REVIEWS

"A great short course that is pitched at the right level for those new to these disciplines. Well delivered and good levels of interactivity.”

Sgt Darren Bell, RAF Odiham, MoD, UK

"I found the course very useful; I am already loaded onto the 2 remaining courses and have told my colleagues about it already (they are loaded onto later courses). I look forward to taking innovation as far as I can and courses such as yours at IKE will surely help.”

SSgt Ian Jack, Innovation SNCO, Army, MoD, UK

"I liked that it was rigorous and intellectually stimulating but also presented in a style that was brisk, professional & engaging while not either talking down to the audience or assuming participants know things that they often do not.”

Dr Simon Elwell, Senior Information Officer, UK StratCom, MoD UK
