This process can also be implemented in any industry, where a consistently high standard of training is essential. It can be implemented within individual an organisation where there is a requirement regular training and professional updating. It can also be applied across a number of organisations where there is a need for consistency in the shared training provision. The process would suit organisations such as public sector bodies who wish to gain external quality assurance for their training provision against their stakeholder needs and expectations.
The Nuclear Assured Standard has been developed to assure the quality of an integrated approach to training and development. The process is based upon rigorous self-assessment supported by an experienced team of expert Advisors. To add value whilst maintaining the high level of the standard, the assessment is undertaken in multiple stages.
You carry out a self-assessment, analysing your training and development provision against the criteria and producing actions for continuous improvement. You will be supported in this by one of our consultants.
The self-assessment will be supplemented by a series of interviews undertaken with staff from all areas and levels of responsibility. We will also arrange a visit by a panel of advisors who will validate the evidence and make a recommendation on whether or not you have met the required standard.
We will produce a report capturing observations of the visit and supporting evidence. It will include constructive feedback designed to support your continuous development.
Assuming that you are successful, you will receive the Nuclear Assured Award. The award is valid for three years and will be supported by an on-going relationship with the IKE Institute.
As a recognised Nuclear Assured organisation, your clients, employees and other stakeholders will be assured of your thriving capacity to utilise training and development as a competitive edge.
