Investor in Innovations is an integrated, leading-edge standard that offers a practical way to validate and benchmark an organisation’s innovation capability. Thales UK SIX was benchmarked in six categories: Strategy & Alignment

  1. Organisational Readiness
  2. Core Capabilities, Technologies & IP
  3. Industry Foresight
  4. Customer Awareness
  5. Impact and Value

Achieving the Investor in Innovations Award means that an organisation:

  • can demonstrate a constructive alignment between its purpose and the innovation drive
  • can take an active role in undertaking industry insights and market intelligence to support and invigorate its business model
  • celebrates its distinctive offerings in innovation thereby, delivering value to your customers, partners and stakeholders.

Achieving the Investor in Innovations status also promotes a strategic commitment to delivering performance excellence that has been benchmarked and validated independently.

The resulting impact is a stronger innovative culture, opportunities for performance improvement and a visible market differentiation as an innovative business leader.

“It is well recognised that the pace and convergence of digital technologies is disrupting many organisations in different sectors. Agile businesses such as Thales are using such disruptions as stimuli for invigorating their teams and reconfiguring their business models to enable them drive value for their customers. SIX has also kept a keen eye on creating a sustainable talent pipeline in digital capability. For example, their collaborative development of the National Digital Exploitation Centre in Wales is a testament of such a commitment. It is pleasing to say that all the Thales business units in the UK have now been through the Investor in Innovations standard and achieved their accreditations and awards.”
